For the third time, the Alison and Peter Klein foundation has awarded a prize for the advancement of young photo artists. For the first time, selection for the prize focused on a topic: “home”. The jury (Ulrike Flaig, Werner Meyer and Petra von Olschowski) selected Sascha Weidner (born 1976) from a group of 31 suggested artists.

This years finalists were: Laurenz Berges, Nathalie Grenzhaeuser, Julia Gröning, Sylvia Henrich, Sonja Kälberer, Eva Leitolf and Josef Schulz.
